Multi-Factor Authentication

S1SEVEN supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) using authenticator apps that generate time-based one-time passwords (TOTP), such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

Enable MFA

1. Navigate to your Profile and open the MFA tab.
2. Click Add OTP Device.
3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
4. Enter a name for the device and the 6-digit code shown in your app.
5. A recovery code is displayed. Store it in a safe place — you will need it if you lose access to your authenticator app.

WARNING

The recovery code is shown once. Make sure to save it before closing the dialog.

Regenerate a Recovery Code

If you have lost your recovery code, you can generate a new one.

1. Navigate to your Profile and open the MFA tab.
2. Click Regenerate on the recovery code entry.
3. Store the new recovery code securely.

Remove an Authenticator

1. Navigate to your Profile and open the MFA tab.
2. Click Remove on the authenticator you want to delete.
3. Confirm the removal.

If you remove your last authenticator, MFA will be disabled for your account.
